ROSL presents a musical tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, patron of ROSL from 1952-2022.
Featuring prizewinners of our renowned Annual Music Competition this concert reflects the Queen’s life in music, ranging from A Nursery Suite, written by Sir Edward Elgar for the 4-year old Princess Elizabeth, to music used during the new Queen’s coronation in 1953, to a work she commissioned herself from Benjamin Britten, to celebrate the 75thbirthday of the Queen Mother.
